The past 24 hours has been a whirlwind of activity complete with highs, a few lows and then some just all around perplexing things.

I’ve heard lots of good stories following on the heels of yesterday’s worship gathering at True North. We shared the story together from Luke 5:1-11 and to say it’s challenging is an enormous understatement. But we landed on this…”what is God asking you to do next in your relationship with Him?” And whatever that is, I hope we’ll all respond collectively by saying, “Jesus, because you say so, I will.”

I rolled out several huge announcements for our church community. Ways in which our church is taking “next steps”. I’m not going into detail here until I communicate that to our entire church family. But I’ve heard of people who have already made serious decisions on how they are going to contribute financially; people who are already saying “I’m in”; and people who are thrilled about new opportunities that are just around the corner.

If you’re part of True North and missed out on all this – the letter will hit your mailbox sometime this week, bringing you up to speed on everything you need to know.

If you weren’t on information overload yesterday – we also made the appeal one last time for Operation Christmas Child. THIS SUNDAY, we are collecting the shoe boxes before/during our worship. Please bring them into the main auditorium. There will be space down front to put them and we will be praying over them as part of our service.

One last thing – in case you didn’t notice…our signs are gone. Sometime on Saturday they disappeared and I have no idea where they went. Hopefully they’ll return this week!
