There are currently several great opportunities to serve and love people within our community and around the world. Here are 3 that we’re highlighting at True North. I hope you jump in on at least one and find a simple, yet clear way, to spread the love of Jesus.

With Love From Jesus – this Wednesday (October 28). Any time you can give between 9:30 and Noon is greatly appreciated. The 4th Wednesday of every month is True North day to love and serve people in our community through the ministry of WLFJ. Address is 421 Chapanoke Road.

Raleigh Rescue Mission and Chick Fil A – the RRM is stocking up it’s pantry for the holiday season and is partnering with local ChickFilA’s to make it happen. We, at True North, are helping in the White Oak location on Thursday, November 5th. Volunteers are needed to assist as people drop off food items and receive a free sandwich. Critical time periods are 7-9 am and 11- 1pm. If you can help for one hour, two or even longer, please send an email to Crystal @ crystal.heinzerling@mytruenorth.org and let her know.

Operation Christmas Child – this is a very simple way to make a difference in other parts of the world for kids who really need it. It’s as simple of putting together a small shoebox of gifts for a boy or girl and dropping it off on Sunday morning, November 15 @ True North worship.
