Yesterday we finished off the “Stuff Jesus Made Up” series through the parables of Jesus. I’ve really enjoyed diving in to the stories Jesus told and even wondered about keeping it going a bit longer. Perhaps we’ll bring it back around again next year.

I hate that so many people missed the story of the 2 Debtors yesterday because I think of all the parables – it turned out to be my favorite one.

This Sunday I’ll be doing my message for the One Prayer series – “God is…Able.” We’ll be sharing together in communion this Sunday as well. I’m looking forward to a strong return from Fathers Day – 4th of July holiday break for many of you!

I spent the weekend in recovery mode from the week with our high school students. We had a blast at CIY conference. I’ve posted all my photos of the week over on Facebook. If you’re not cool and don’t have an account, you can create one and enjoy lots more than my pictures.

Just finished writing my article for the Garner Citizen “Faith” section. I think it won’t run until the first week of August though. I’ll keep you posted so that you can throw up some comments. It appears the only article to ever have feedback was this one – Original Plastic Jesus.
